All members present except Messrs. VVemyss,' Jacka, Robinson, Nicholson, Eban, M'Kae, Elliott,' Sinclair. . - Mr. Kklling brought up the report of the Select Committee on the Country Roads Act. Report read. Ordered to lie on the table. The Provincial Solicitor moved the third reading of the Auctioneers' Licensing Amendment Bill. Seconded by Mr. Sharp. Bill read a third time, and passed. Dr. Monro asked for leave of absence for Mr. Wemys3 for a fortnight.—Granted. Council adjourned.
