Commercial News.
We have little or no change to report since our last. Trade is still dull in town, the markets well supplied, and retailers not inclined to buy. More favourable news has been received from the gold fields. It is rather unfortunate that during the present fine weather the number of actual diggers should be so small; many are leaving to attend to the approaching harvest, which being got in, we have no doubt, the population at the diggings will be greatly increased, « Connected with this, we would naturally, expect an im-provement-in trade. • ;
