Plant programme praised
The Taupo Borough kCouncil's flower-planting programme on parks and l domains has been praised f by. the president of the Taupo Horticultural and Beautifying Society, Mr L. G. Cole. and the parks supervisor ' recently. Agreement on the need for careful planning was unanimous. A programme of selective planting of trees and shrubs.could be carried out at the society's expense once the initial plans and preparations were complete. "It has long been our intention to use our aceumulated funds for this purpose," said Mr Cole. "Now that a start has
