POSY FOR A VISITOR
The July meeting of the Tirohanga branch of the Woman's Division of Federated Farmers, was held in Mrs S. Reyland's home. A visitor, Mrs L. Grayling, was presented with a posy of flowers. The president gave her report on the recent annual conference at Nelson. Mrs Davis thanked her for an interesting speech. Competitions were as follows: — Best bloom: N. Aldridge I 1, B. Philpott 2, J. Scott 3. Best shrubs J. Scott 1, G. Gilmore 2, N. Aldridge and * B. Philpott 3 equal. Best peggy square: S. Reyland 1, J. Scott 2, J. I Davis 3. Twenty eight> members I attended the birthday dinI ner of the branch, which . | was held in Taupo. , Members had a most * , enjoyable evening.
