Lake trolling
Trolling was average on Lake Taupo during the 1973-74 season, said the controller of the wildlife division of Internal Affairs, Dr G. R. Williams. Numerous small trout were reported caught in the early part of the season, not only from Taupo but from other waters, he told a conference of sportsmen at the weekend.
