Watkins no. 2
Referee, Mr L. Watkins, has been placed number two in the Hawkes Bay "Top Five" panel of referees. Mr Watkins has shown with his ability to let play run to suit the players involved that this posting is well merited, says the Taupo Rugby Sub-Union. His name also goes forward to the national panel for selection at top level.
