jLETTERSl Group not ignored Sir, My telephone comment to your helpful reporter was not that our committee had been ignored but that there had been no action to date. I went on to comment that the reply which we did receive from the Minister of Social Welfare was couched in similar terms to the letter a Turangi group had received in response to a similar request and the substance of which you published in the "Times" ^last week. Finally, in fairness to others who are involved in the initial plans for a citizens' advice bureau, my comment on the telephone was that by mid-August we should be able to announce some definite steps taken to open such a service for the people of Taupo. Canon Ralph Matthews Chairman, social welfare committee.
