Yesterday's heavy downpour didn't deter Taupo Primary School pupils, Cheryl Brown, 10, and her five-year-old brother David. Clad in weather-proof gear they maintained a dry f outlook on their way to school. Many folk in Taupo, likewise donned raincoats and broke-out the brollies to beat the weather. Although driving conditions were fairly bad yesterday no accidents were reported to the Ministry of Transport.
