Public Notices j THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953 TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO CHANGE OF USE NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by DAVID CLEAVE HENDERSON of Taupo, Hire Operator and HINEMOA SANDRA HENDERSON his wife for consent to change of use permitting the use and development of Cherry Island (situated in the Waikato River between the Lake Taupo outfall and the "Huka Falls) as a park exhibiting trout, wildlife, flora and fauna in conjunction with restaurant and conference facilities and with other facilities (including shops and toilets) for patrons' use all in accordance with certain plans deposited with the Taupo County Council. The property comprises an island (known as Cherry Island) situated in the Waikato River between the* Lake Taupo outfall and the Huka Falls. It is unzohed. The legal description of the land is all that parcel of land containing 7891 square metres more or less being part Rangatira 8A 2B 1 Block being all the land contained in Certificate of Title 1 5B / 498 (South Auckland Registry). Special conditions, restrictions or provisions proposed for the application are that facilities for parking by way of a parking area located within the Taupo Bprough area and adjacent to the south bank of the Waikato river be provided for by the applicant. The application may be examined at the offices of the Taupo County Council, Lake Terrace, Taupo, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the County Clerk, Taupo County Council, Private Bag, Taupo, not later than 4 p.m. on 15th August 1974. Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection and shall serve on the applicant a copy of the objection.
