Extreme winter conditions reduced the ladies' goif field to the smallest this season when a par trophy event was played last week. Only one senior card was returned — by Mrs I. Tawera, who finished 1 up. Other results were. — Intermediate: Mrs E. Hill, 1 up; Mrs J. Prater, 1 down; Mrs P. Balmforth, 2 down. Junior: Mrs M. Gawn, 1 down; Mrs J. Roberts, 3 down; Mrs M. Tapalaga, 5 down. Handicap reductions: Mrs M. Gawn 31-30, Mrs E. Hill 24-23, Mrs J. Prater 23-22, Mrs R. Williams 33-31, Mrs M. Moss 26-25.
