Public Notices TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROADS TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC Pursuant to the Transport (Vehieular Road Closure) Reguleftions 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of car sprint and hill climb, the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehieular traffic for the periods indlcated hereunder: — During the period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehieular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: Opened on request every 20 minutes Period of Closure: Oruanui Road 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Saturday, Juty 20, 1974. j Broadlands Road (Car Sprint) 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 1974. Roads proposed to be closed to ordinary vehieular traffic : — (i) Oruanui Road approximately 3/4 mile past the Link Road T.urnOff to approximately 1 /4 mile before the Tuhingamata Road Turn-Off. Period of Closure 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. SATURDAY, JULY 20, 1974. (ii) Broadlands Road from Burrows' Quarry entrance to approximately 300 yards past the View Road TurnOff. Period of Closure 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. SUNDAY, JULY 21, 1974. It will be an offence under the above reguiations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehieular traffic during the periods of closure.
