Building fund boost
The Taupo Senior Citizens' Association's building fund received a $20 boost this week from the Taupo Rotaract Club. The senior citizens' presidcnt, Mr Bill Hasler, said that although they were well on the way with finance, another $10,000 would be needed. "Rotaract's donation is very much appreciated," he said. The association is awaiting word from the Kiwi grants committee about its application for a $50,000 subsidy.
