SWIM MEN HONOURED

Messrs Don Cage and Brian Gulland, of Taupo, have been elected to the Bay of Plenty committee of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. Mr Cage, as vice-presi-dent, has also been elected to represent the Bay at the

swimming association's annual meeting to be held in Christchurch. At the recent annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty centre, he was also chosen as a selector for Bay teams. The following Taupo

club members have qualified for the N.Z. Voluntary Swimming Service instructors' certificates. — Ken Scott, Ian Burt, John Charteris, Steve Hughes, Raewyn Officer, Shona Orr, Maria Mathie, Judy Nairn, Gayle O'Brien.
