Corso collects $713
The house-to-house Corso appeal held in Taupo last Saturday raised $713 — and a third of the town was not covered. A Corso spokesman said that even with the territory uncanvassed, the amount raised was similar to last year. The main problem was the lack of drivers. "We had an excellent turn out of youngsters, though," the spokesman said. Uncollected donations can be left at the National Bank.
