Wine, cheese evening

The president, Mrs Lyrine Cullinane, told a well attended meeting' of the Taupo Plunket Society recently that a wine and cheese gathering would set the scene for the annual general meeting on July 9 at the Plunket clinic rooms. A warm invitation was

extended to intending members and those interested in the society. Appreciation was expressed for a donation of a painting by an Auckland artist It was hoped to raffle the painting.

There was a discussion on the conference in Dunedin in October. It was considered that although the venue of the conference was a considerable distance away — and fund-raising would be necessary - — a delegate from Taupo would attend.
