Public Notices J TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE A TRADE WASTES BY-LAW Notice is hereby given that the Taupo Borough Council intends, at a meeting to be held on Monday, August 26, 1974, at 7.30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Story Place, Taupo, to make a By-Law to be known as the Taupo Borough Trade Wastes ByLaw. The proposed By-Law will be made by Council in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by the Municipai Corporation Act 1954, Health Act 1956, Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 and amendments thereto. The proposed By-Law will relate to the following Trade Wastes: — Any liquid with or without matter in suspension or solution therein, which is or may be discharged from trade premises in the course of any trade or industrial process or operation in the course of any activity or operation of a like nature; but does not include condensing wat,er, surface water or domestic sewage. A complete copy of the draft By-Law is available for public inspection, free of charge, and may be obtained on paymeht of $1, at the Offices of the Taupo Borough Council during the hours when such offices are open to the public. The Taupo Borough Council is prepared to receive and consider any representation with respect to the draft By-Law that may be made to it in writing by or on behalf of owners or occupiers of trade premises within the district of the Taupo Borough, untiL 5 p.m. on Monday the 26th day of August, 1974.
