Trout test time

Taupo radio station's new manager, Mr Don McCutcheon, is keen to try his hand at trout fishing. Said Mr McCutcheon, who took up his duties last week: "With - the reputation of the fish alleged to be 'in these waters, why not." Mr McCutcheon, married, with two school-age children, succeeds Mr Murray Hewson, who has been transferred to Gisborne. Mr McCutcheon was formerly announcer-in-charge and relieving manager of Masterton. His family is to join him in Taupo soon. Mr McCutcheon has worked for the NZBC for more than 10 years. Besides commercial radio work, he has been television news reader in Dunedin.
