Cosmopolitan 100 Pipers won the first round of the Nicora Trophy darts competition last week. The team narrowly defeated Cosmopolitan Club in a play-off match of
1001. Six teams took part in the round. Cosmopolitan Club and Cosmopolitan 100 Pipers drew 12-all (hence the play-off); Dirty Dozen beat 117, 14-10; RSA beat
River-Rinas 16-&— — The final will be played next Monday night. The three first-round losers will also play off then for a consolation plate.
