PLACED IN MARCHING

The Tudors Marching Club of Taupo started the New Year on the right foot by taking a number of placings in competition at Rotorua last weekend. A team from Wellington and two from Auckland comppted in the largely Bay of Plenty supported carnival. Tudors scored seconds in the march past, uniform display and leader and third in the march plan in a strong junior section and gave notice that they will be a strong contender at the North Island championships at Hamilton on February 6. The midgets were second in the march plan and display and third in the leader § competition.
