LOCHINVER STOCK SALE
The first annual sale at Lochinver Station on Monday saw a well drafted yarding supported by a good bench of buyers from most North Island centres. The yarding of 7000 sheep were mainly Perendale and Romney breeds. Prices were good on recent values and top realisations included: Romneys: 4th $5; 6th $6.30; 5yr. $5.40; 2th wethers $5.60. Perendales: Mixed age ewes $5.80; 2th ewes, $7.50.
