Boundary extension proposed
At the next joint meeting of Taupo borough and county councils, the possibility of extending the borough boundary from Nukuhau to the vicinity of Albert Street, Acacia Bay, will be discussed. At Tuesday night's meet ing of the borough council, the Mayor, Mr J. E. Story, asked for the matter to be put on the agenda for the joint meeting. But he was not prepared to comment further on the boundary extension proposal.
