Postal workers' strike

The Post Office advises that, because of postal workers' strike in United Kingdom commencing on January 20, all domestic and international postal services in that country will be suspended. Airmail already enroute to the United Kingdom might be delayed in delivery. At the request of the British Authorities the New Zealand Post Office will not be despatching any airmail to the United Kingdom after January 19 until the strike ceases.
