Hrs. 1573 Evenings. 2/26 BOROUGH OF TAUPO NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER PAYMENT OF RATES BY INSTALMENTS Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Taupo Borough Council held on Monday, the 21st day of December, 1970, the following resolution was passed, and it will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Monday, the 25th day of January, 1971, at 7.30 p.m. at the Council Chambers, Story Place, Taupo. RESOLUTION "Pursuant to the provisions of the Rating Act, 1967 (as amended by the Rating Amendment Act 1970) the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order: (a) That all rates to be levied and collected by the Council be paid in six instalments in each rating year, such instalments to be due and payable at two-monthly intervala throughout the year; (b) That the said six instalments shall be due and payable on the first days of April, June, August, October, December and February in each rating year, and such date6 shall be endorsed on the respective rate assessments; (c) That this Special Order shall come into force on the first day of April 1971, being the first day of April next succeeding the expiration of two calendar months after the date of confirmation of this Special Order; (d) That an additional charge of ten per cent shall be added to all rates unpaid after the expiration of 28 days after the date on which the rates assessed on each instalmenit shall become due and payable.
