C.O.B. v WANDERERS
Kevin Delany claimed two wickets and skipper Dave Hunt one as College Old Boys went from 136 for six overnight to 150 before John Darlington declared. Neville Cambie was last out for a forceful 40 and he then took the new ball and knocked the top off the Wanderers innings. Darlington struck a major blow by sending back the big scoring Hunt for four and Wanderers were 37 for three. Roger Cameron went at 39, but Peter McNair and Mike West, who opened the innings, added 21 runs before West, the only batsman to handle the College Old Boys attack at all well, fell to Darlington. Three more wickets went for 19 runs before Hunt effected a closure at 79 for eight. Darlington and Cambie claimed four wickets each and the entire innings lasted just 17.3 overs. West's 44 included six fours and McNair, 12, the only other batsman to reach double figures, found the boundary twice. Ron Nathoo and John Unka shared an opening
