Alive again
The official rebirth of hockey in the Soviet Union took place in 1970. After making its first appearance at Soviet stadiums in 1955, it lay dormant for 13 years. A joint field and ice hockey federation has been set up, which approved the composition of a national field hockey team for the next Olympics. The methods used in preparing sportsmen for ice hockey in the winter were taken as the basis for the new game for the Russians
