About People
Mr N. J. R. Meldrum, previously New York representative of the Bank of New South Wales, took up his new appointment as chief manager for New Zealand on January 5. Mr Meldrum joined the Wales at Oamaru in 1940 and since then has had extensive branch and administrative experience in New Zealand, Australia and in London.
