JET BOAT REGATTA
Tom Wayman, of Wellington, scored most points and took the Silver Foxleigh Cup at the annual jet boat regatta, which incorporated national events, on Lake Taupo on Sunday. The drag event was won by W. Burnside, of Hastings, and the slalom went to K. Smith, of Wellington. Jane Bridgeman, of Auckland, overcame a strong field to take the honours in the girls' event.
