The popularity of early morning play has been a feature of activity at the Taupo Golf Club this holiday season. The first tee has been in use since soon after sunrise and many rounds have been completed each day before mid-morning. Competition results: — Boxing Day: Nassau stableford first nine H. J. Gowling 23, M. Timu 23; second nine J. Burgess 22, D. Hook 21; overall, G. M. Struthers 41, M. Timu 41. Twos E. Gregorie, D. J. Reid, K. Rameka 6th, L. O'Connor, R. Walker, H. Ashley-Jones, D. Hook, D. Rameka 17th. December 27: Nassau stableford, first nine, T. J. O 'Neill 24; second nine, J. Hogan 25; overall, J. Hogan 42. Twos, Mrs C. Holland, E. Lewis. N. Cathie 16th. December 28: Nassau stableford, first nine, R. Hudson 22; second nine, J. Burgess 23; overall, Mrs M. Alpe 42. No twos were scored and the "bird's nest" for twos at the 6 th and 17 th holes now totals 62 balls.
