Fibreglass Runabout
A new fibreglass runabout boat, inodelled along the lines of the current GT car trend, has made its debut in Australia and is now available for export. Named the ''Piranha" (picture), the boat has been designed for young people requiring a well-equipped runabout with an attractive appearance and l 'cy lines. It is available in a range of vivid contemporary colours, has upholstered bucket seats, carpeted floor and other accessories normally associated with a GT style machine. The boat s 5ft 2in beam gives it stability and manoeuverability. The stainless Jteel trim tabs supplied as standard equipment help promote a very smooth ride, The hull is made of main-tenance-free reinforced fibreglass and incorporates a multi-cellular material in the decking. Luxury fittings include speedometer, de-luxe steering wheel, upholstered bucket seats, polypropylene carpeted floor, complete deck hardware, running lights, tinted sports windscreen and padded map pockets.
