Landslides are risk
Because of the high risk of landslides in the area of land at Waihi zoned as Residential D, the Taupo County Council decided today to review its district scheme for the area. When the scheme becomes operative all land which may be affected by future landslips will be precludcd from further development for residential or tourist accommodation.
