Spectacular scoring marked the stableford competition at the Taupo Golf Club on Sunday with Mrs T. J. O 'Neill winning with 47 points, followed by C. Tihi 45 and Miss L. Young 44. Twos were scored by C. Tihi lst and T. Halverson 10th. A Nassau stableford event on Saturday resulted: First nine, P. L. Thomas 22; second nine, H. J. Gowling 22; overall, N. Hinckesman 40. J. Ridley carded the only two, at the 17th. * Dennis Sharrock 21 points, won a stableford "twilight ' competition over the first nine holes at the Taupo Golf Club on Wednesday. Then followed H. Gillies 20, P. Thompson 20 and P. Munroe 19. There were no twos and the golf balls will be carried forward to a "twilight'' bird's nest competition, with twos needed at the lst and 6th holes to win the event.
