The Laing family of Turangi, were at the afternoon tea for graduating soldiers of the 26th Intake of National Servicemen held at Waiouru Command on December 6. The troops gave a demonstration of combat skills in the morning, and in the afternoon paraded before Rear--Admiral L. G. Carr, Chief of Naval Staff, before ending their three months initial in-camp training.
