Residents Slow To Enrol
Taupo and district residents have been slow to take advantage of the supplementary roll for the local body elections on October 9. The supplementary rolls close on Friday at 5 p.m. and are the last chance for residents to comply with the law. TJp to this morning, only 50 borougli and 100 county residents were on them. Last elections, the borough supplementary roll contained about 300 names, the county about 1000. Application forms for both local bodies are available at the Taupo public library, the information centre and both the borough and the county offices. 4 i .
