WOMAN HURT

A 70-year-old Taupo widow, Mrs Irene Florence Alexander, of 6 Elizabeth Street, received a broken leg, arm, lacerations and shock when she was knocked down by a car in Paetiki Road on Thursday evening at 6.25. After attention by Dr C. A. King, she was sent to Rotorua Hospital by St John Ambulance. The driver of the car involved was Mr S. V. Whittaker, of Taupo.
