Taupo Tourist Promotion
The new executive of the Taupo branch of New Zealand Travel and Holiday Association, elected last week, intends to hold discussions with local bodies and other organisations interested in the promotion of tourism in the district. The executive will stress the need for co-operation and co-ordination of effort between the bodies. It proposed to send a deputation to have discussions with the industrial tourist promotion committee of the Taupo Borough Council.
