Skiing Week For Taupo Children

Taupo Ski Club will sponsor its annual children's week at the club's hut on Mt Ruapehu from August 22 to 29. The age group will be from 10 to 15 years. Each year the club takes a group of children up the mountain to teach them to ski and learn cautious behaviour in snow. This year, the party will receive ski instruction from Mr F. Reid, assisted by Messrs M. Clare and R. Staines. Chaperones will be Mrs A. Patchett, Mrs J. Young and V. Lockwood. Following are the names of the children who will make up the party: — Bronwyn Frost, Raewyn Peacock, Helen Frost, Alison Patchett, Sarah Dinsdale, Kathryn Groome, Patricia Dinsdale, Sally Craig, Beverly Patchett, John Taylor, Patrick Cox, Derek lreton, Dennis Sharrock, Michael Stevens, Jonathan Staines, Adrian Ward, Anthony Pardon.
