SHOOTING
A pupil of the Reporoa District High School, 15-year-old Waima Bryce Bilich, was accidently shot in the neck by a .22 bullet fired by his brother, Cedric Wayne Bilich, late on Tuesday. He was last reported to be in a satisfactory condition. The brothers were rabbit hunting on the banks of the Waikato River upstream from the Mihi Bridge when the accident occurred. Cedric knelt down to shoot at a hovering hawk. As he pulled the trigger his brother stood up in front of him and was shot in the neck.
