A. McKinnon and J. Tawhau with 20 points each paved the way for Huka's easy win over 60/8. E. Darlington (with 14 points) and W. Dance (11 points) top-scored when Tauhara beat Lavenders. For the losers B. Frost and E. Anderson had good games. Tauhara I. were not the team of previous weeks when they beat St. John's by the slim margin of two points. The first game on Thursday saw Comets cause the biggest upset of the season when they beat Checkers by two points.
