The applicant requests that it be granted such partial exemption as will authorise it to remain open for full trading from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days of the week. THE GROUNDS of the Application are that such exemption would b-e in the public interest generally as such shop is situate at a holiday resort, that it is desirable to provide the exemption sought as a service to the public when no other similar facility is provided in Taupo for much of the time in respect of which this application is made, that many residents are constantly employed on shift work in Taupo and that such exemption would not affect the interests of occupiers of any other shop.
