BUILDING PERMITS NEARLY

DOUBLED

Twenty-three building permits issned by the Taupo County Council in July were for buildings valued at £47,322. Eight were for dwellings to a total value of £30,302, an average of more than £3780 per house. The cumulative total from April 1 now stands at £170,015, which is £93,895 higher than for the same period last year. The total for July this year was £26,172 greater

than for July, 1964, and fees collected amounted to £193 10/-.
