PUBLIC NOTICES (NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION) UNDER THE SHOPS AND OFFICES ACT, 1955 NOTICE is hereby given that SIDNEY REX LANE, trading as SALON PETRICE, of Horomatangi Street, Taupo. WILL APPLY to the Shops and Offices Exemptions Tribunal, sitting in the Magistrate's Courtroom at TAUPO on Tuesday, the 31st day of August, 1965, at 2.30 p.m., for exemption from the closing hours which have been fixed by Clause "30 of the Northern Industrial District General Retail Shop Assistants Award, dated 10th April, 1963. The applicant requests that he be granted partial exemption from closing on Saturday momings throughout the year from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. THE GROUNDS of the application are that such shop is situate at a holiday resort and that such exemption would not affect the interests of occupiers of any other shop.
