Taupo Swimming Club has suggested a working bee to terrace the bank beside the open pool at the AC Baths, reported the baths manager, Mr H. E. Cox, to MondSy's meeting of the Taupo Borough Council. The club wants to do this to provide seating for speetators. During June, attendance figures at the baths were 10,138 and on Queen's Birthday weekend the total was 3102 for the Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Receipts from ticket saies during June amounted to £521/14/9.
