Representations are to be made to the Internal Affairs Department to have the term of the Taupo County Advisory Commissioner, Mr D. O. Haskell, extended by 12 months. Taupo County Council, which decided to take this step after a discussion in committee, voted 6 — 2 (one abstaining) on the issue.
