Plunket Society Target Appeal
Taupo Plunket Society will hold a target appeal in Taupo over the next six monthjs to raise £500 towards the cost of its | nurses room and resii dence. If the society can raise the money in the period it will have the £1500 necessary to start building early in the new year. The society has already raised £500 and a further £500 will be on hand as a grant. To date, donations of £21 and £10 have been made. Land has been leased to the society by the Waikato Hospital Board for a term of 21 years with right of renewal. Progress in the target appeal will be shown in a shop window in Tongariro Street and donations should be made to the president, Mrs W. W. Elbe.
