The 1500s Volkswagen. There's much to be said for sheer quality in a motorcar, no matter what the price and I felt this was amply demonstrated last week when I drove the Volkswagen 1500s belonging to Mr Graham Boot. Here is a car, basically no different from dozens of others on the road, yet full of comfort and quality to a degree which proved quite impressive.
