GRAVES

Sir — This letter is addressed to the person or persons who callously desecrated a new grave in the Taupo Cemetery. I had the occasion to take the widow to see the grave and we were very shocked to find someone had removed the artificial tokens of respect from the grave. To those who personally chose artificial flowers with the thought of a permanent mark of respect, it is a shock to find that anyone would be so low as to remove them. I hope that when they read this letter, they will have the decency to return the flowers and to feel ashamed of their actions. — Yours, etc.. DISGUSTED.
