WOMEN'S MEETINGS

CATHOLIC LEAGIJE The annual meeting of the Catholic Women's League, held in the parish hall, began with morning tea. There was a good attendance of members to hear the year's reports. The officers for the coming year are: President, Mrs McCormick; vice-presidents, Mesdames McLean and Killeen; secretary, Mrs O'Brien; treasurer, . Mrs Logan. It was decided to hold a separate committee meeting on July 26 to make arrangements for the opening and blessing of the new convent, and to help with the parish social on Thursday, July 29. The winner of the prize for most points for the year in the bloom and staik competition was Mrs Tritt, and for the most entries of the year, Mrs Crowther.
