Another round of the basketball tournament was played at Tokaanu School on Saturdav. The weather was perfect, but attendance was poor except for the High School girls who turned out in force. This is heartening for the teachers who spend much of their spare time coaching the schoolgirls. Results for the day were: — Seniors: Tongariro 35, High School 15; Kaimanawa won by default against Post Office; Kuratau won by default against Fletcher's Mill. Junior: Tokaanu Form II. 2, Kuratau A 5; Tokaanu Form I. 7, Kuratau A 4; Tokaanu C 4, Kuratau C 26; Tokaanu D 5, Kuratau C 8; Tokaanu B 8, Kuratau B 10; Tokaanu C 15, Kuratau C 17.
