Borough Power
The maxlmum demand on the Taupo Borough Council power system for May was 5888 k.w. at 7 p.m. on May 21. The maximum demand from the State was 4908 k.w. at the same time. Units distributed during May (four weeks) were 2,149,446; 625,086 units were generated at the Hinemaiaia power station; 1,524, ,360 units were purchased from the State; no units were sold to the State during the period.
