Thirteen new street lights
Thirteen new street lights were installed last month by Taupo Borough Council electricity department. Nine of the lights were in the county at Tauhara township and Acacia Bay, and four were placed in service lanes in the commercial area of the borough. One tungsten light over the pedestrian crossing by the post office was replaced by a fluorescent light.
